About Me

Man, I never know what to say in these things. I’ll try my best to make it somewhat interesting.

My name is Stacie. I am 23 years old and happily married to the love of my life.

Hubs and I met in college where we both studied to be professional computer nerds. We were a match made in the computer lab… literally.

In March of 2010, I started running in order to drop a few lbs. and gain a healthy lifestyle. While I am still a sucker for a fat juicy cheeseburger (especially of the In N Out variety), my diet consists mostly of foods that will not give me a heart attack at age 30. That is the goal at least πŸ˜‰

Once I started running, I couldn’t stop. Thanks to the support of my family and friends, I was able to complete my very first 5K in August of 2010 and my first half marathon in February of 2011.

Besides running, I love to settle down with a good book. A good book and a glass of wine… now, that is pretty much my ideal Friday night.

My hubba hubba and I just made a big move from San Diego, California to Seattle, Washington in order to further our careers. Since most of our family is in San Diego, it has been quite a big move. Hubs and I are loving the change, though. We have been able to explore a new city and make it our own. I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity that we have been given.

I intend for this blog to be my way of sharing our journey in Seattle with family, friends, and strangers. I will be sharing my passion for running, reading, shopping, traveling, and everything else we get to experience along the way. I hope you will join me as I happily skip my way through Seattle.

I don’t blog, but love reading blogs… especially about running. I’ve lived in the Seattle area my whole life (expect for when I went to college in Arizona). I hope you enjoy this area as much as I do… the summers are worth it! Maybe I’ll see you at a local race! … Amy

  7. Hey! My husband and I just moved to the PNW as well…about 7 months ago. We weren’t lucky enough to get to move to Seattle though! After living in Southern California (LA for us), this weather is tough! I’m on a 2 year contract, so we’re not sure if we’ll move up to Seattle or back to LA once my contract is done.

  8. I live across the water from Seattle, I lovee that city. Saying hi to a fellow sweat pinker!
